I've never been able to pick out a character trait that is more dispicable than entitlement. High self worth. The notion that you deserve something for whatever reason you might construct. Maybe you think you are owed something for the hospitality you give people, or maybe you might do a service for some that you think requires some form of reciprocation, either personally or monetarily. I think anyone who does good deeds soley for the purpose of holding it over everyone's head is a pretty big dick. Why do you feel it's appropriate for you to do good deeds just for leverage over people?
Fuck that. Do good things because it feels good to do them. Do them for everyone around you.
